About this event

Wells of Salvation

Our Spirituality Day features the Ven Justine Allain Chapman, who is the Archdeacon of Boston and author of The Resilient Disciple, which draws on her experience in the desert. She will be speaking on Wells of Salvation: resilience in desert places.

Justine’s talk will come in the context of meditations, prayers and sung worship. It will feature oboe player Amy Roberts, writer and broadcaster Nick Mayhew-Smith, members of the choir of Southwark Cathedral, and Bishop Christopher reflecting on finding joy in your salvation.

Surely God is my salvation;

I will trust, and will not be afraid,

for the LORD GOD is my strength and my might;

he has become my salvation.

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 12:2-3
